THE ASA T. AND JANE (SATCHELL) HICKMAN FAMILY BIBLE

The history of this Bible is unknown. It came into my possession at the death of my grandfather Vernon Otho East in 1991. (This got me started in Genealogy.) He was the son of George Otho East and Mary (Manie) Jane Hickman. So I assume it was passed on to her by her father and mother. The Bible was printed in 1884, so I have assumed that it was maintained by Jane Hickman up to her death in 1894. The handwriting seems the same until just before their death.
