84. JOHN DRUMMOND⁶ MARSHALL (ESME⁵, THOMAS⁴, JOHN³, THOMAS², JOHN¹) (#321) birth date unknown. JOHN died before April 22, 1800 in Somerset Co. MD.

He married twice. He married ANN "NANCY" WAILES May 5, 1776. John married second Delilah Brittingham, daughter of Solomon and widow of Levi Purnell. (ANN "NANCY" WAILES is #322.) ANN was the daughter of JOHN WAILES.

ANN died October 18, 1789. He married DELILAH BRITTINGHAM in Worcester Co., MD, May 9, 1793. (DELILAH BRITTINGHAM is #324.) DELILAH was the daughter of SOLOMON BRITTINGHAM and MARY (wife of Solomon Brittingham). Mary Brittingham's will was probated in 1784; she named her daughter Deliliah Purnell and three grandchildren: Mary, Milby and Sarah. (Vernon L. Skinner, Worcester Co., MD Wills JW13, p.3) John Drummond is shown as the second son of Esme and Mary Marshall. He is shown under age in 1764. The "Maryland Herald & Eastern Shore Intelligencer" of April 22, 1800 shows Elizabeth Marshall and Benjamin Wailes as administrators of John D. Marshall late of Worcester County, Pitts Creek Hundred. 220 i. ESME⁷ MARSHALL (#327) was born in Somerset Co MD March 3, 1779. He married ?SARAH SINKS in Daviss Co IN, February 27, 1825. (?SARAH SINKS is #328.) Marriage records of Daviss Co IN show an Esme P. Marshall married Sarah Sinks, bond dated 1825 (Jim Marshall). That he is the same Esme Marshall, son of John Drummond Marshall is unknown.

221 ii. ELIZABETH MARSHALL (#329) was born in Somerset Co MD July 2, 1780.

+ 222 iii. MARY MARSHALL was born March 19, 1783.

223 iv. SARAH MARSHALL (#332) was born February 22, 1786.
