Company Muster In Descriptive Roll for June 30, 1864 shows station of company, Cobbs Island, VA

 Record of Events

Sept. 18, 1863 Authority was given Major ? Foster to raise a regt of Loyal East VA Vols then enlistment and muster to conform strictly to existing regulations to be mustered in for three years or during the war and to serve wherever ordered.  Officers nominated to be appointed by the War Dept.  The men are entitled to bounty same as for other vols.

 Record of Events

Hazard Stevens is Capt ? Acting Col of 1 regt. Loyal Eastern Va Vols was relieved by order of Maj. Gen. Butler commding Dept Va & NC March 5, 1863 and the command detachment of recruits, (then numbering fifty three (53) men) was assigned to Lt. Oliver G. Thomas the senior officer in command.  On March 12/64 the officers recruits of this organization were ordered from recrt’g depot, or camp of instruction, to report for duty, were divided into detachments and have since been on duty as coast guards on the (over)

Sept & OctStation of Co:  Pungoteague, VA.  On duty as coast provost guards on Eastern Shore

Nov & DecStation of Co:  Onancok, VA.  On duty as coast guards.

Jan & Feb, 1865:  Station of Co:  Eastville, VA On duty as coast guards.

March & AprStation of Co:  Drummondtown, VA.  On duty as coast guards.

May & June:  Station of Co:  On duty as coast guards on Eastern Shore

July & Aug:  (can’t read: too light)

Sept & OctCo. doing guard duty at Prison ? camp.  Camp Hamilton.

Company Returns

July 1864Co. was not mustered as an organization 7/1/1864.  All of the men absent on duty were detached by the verbal order of Frank J. White, Major & Pro Marshall.

 Dec 1864: Onancock

 Aug 1865Camp Hamilton, VA
