Nothing Nice

Blues News

The son of Eddie "Guitar Slim" Jones, a blues legend, Guitar Slim, Jr. grew up on the streets of New Orleans, Point man, Billy Sturgis (Warehouse Creek) worked with Slim and he landed some gigs that were successful. One night at a party, Slim did "Try a little Tenderness" and Sturgis ealized the Phoenix before him. This is the best cut on the CD! Billy called me, one day, and said, "I want to send you something to listen to. Call me and tell me what you think."

This man, Guitar Slim, Jr., from the nomination for a Grammy in 1988, to jammin' with GOP Chairman Lee Atwater, has got the blues by the tail. If you haven't heard, the CD is available in all music stores throughout Tidewater and across the U.S. Get it - don't lose it!
